Bugzilla – Bug 155284
proposal says "packages to update: 0, packages to install: 1201" on update
Last modified: 2007-03-25 22:53:36 UTC
I updated from beta3 to beta6 and got a strange proposal: - packages to update: 0 - packages to install: 1201 When looking at the detailed package list, lots of packages were marked for update (I didn't count them ;-) Therefore, I think this is "only" a cosmetical problem - but not a nice one. You can find the y2logs at https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=71245&action=view
Created attachment 71249 [details] screenshot: proposal
Created attachment 71250 [details] screenshot: package list (after clicking "Pakete" (packages) in the proposal)
I don't know how far the update-capability of the packager has progressed. Klaus?
Thats a duplicate

The first version I have run into this problem is beta8 ! "Packages Partition "/" needs 2.21 GB more disk space. Deselect some packages or delete som data or temporary files before updating the system. * Packages to Update: 0 * New Packages to Install: 818 * Packages to Remove: 0 * Total Size of Packages to Update: 2.2 GB"
even if I'm late: VERIFIED in 10.2 - it can count again :-) (I also verified that this is really a duplicate)
