Description James Ogley 2006-03-04 13:06:39 UTC
In previous SUSE versions, the ndiswrapper kernel module was in the kernel-* package. It's not included in kernel-smp (and I suppose possibly other kernel packages) on 10.1 beta 5.

Kernel package is:
kernel-smp-2.6.16_rc4-3
Comment 1 Greg Kroah-Hartman 2006-03-04 16:39:30 UTC
It is now a separate rpm package and not included in the kernel package.

Comment 3 James Ogley 2006-03-07 16:37:37 UTC
For the benefit of anyone who files a duplicate to this bug, the package you want is ndiswrapper-kmp-<flavour> where <flavour> is the type of kernel you use, smp in my case.

It's in Factory, but I guess may not be in the CD release.

fixed with bug 155723
