Description Jon Nelson 2006-03-05 02:25:05 UTC
betas 3, 4 and 5 did not have this problem (nor does 10.0).
beta6's gnome-terminal font is terrible.
The video card is an NVidia Geforce 2 "go" on a laptop at 1024x768 resolution.
Other fonts look fine, just (as yet) the font in gnome-terminal.

Can you attache a screen shot please?

See also bug #54176.
Comment 3 Jon Nelson 2006-03-09 03:06:08 UTC
Sigh. It looks like I would have also preferred something like Bitstream Vera Mono - bug 54176. Oh well, you can probably close this bug.
Comment 4 Mike Fabian 2006-03-09 11:00:07 UTC
OK, closing as WORKSFORME because the difference between
"Bitstream Vera Mono" and "Cumberland AMT" is really a matter of taste.

And "monospace" is the most reasonable default to make sure that
all languages work by default.
