the kio_http Authority dialog (caused by the .htpasswd files on the server side) does not appear in front of the kio_http progress dialog. It is usually behind any window and the server seems to be dead for the user.

A good testcase is http://api.opensuse.org

can't reproduce it at all. You need to make your "how to reproduce" more detailed.

the Autorisation window does open behind the other windows here on two systems.

see? alt-f2 changes quite a bit. This makes it a minicli bug instead of a konqueror problem.
