Bugzilla – Bug 155843
rug will not install package (YUM src)
Last modified: 2006-07-07 20:26:29 UTC
I just restarted zmd and did: aj@x40:~/cvs/nrm-zypp> rug sl # | Status | Type | Name | URI --+--------+------+---------+--------------------------------- 1 | Active | YUM | factory | http://dist.suse.de/factory/suse aj@x40:~/cvs/nrm-zypp> rug info xgnokii Catalog: http://dist.suse.de/factory/suse Name: xgnokii Version: 0.6.10-5 Arch: i586 Installed: No Status: up-to-date Installed Size: 0 Summary: Nokia Connectivity Program Description: xgnokii is an X Window System front-end for gnokii. gnokii has to be installed as well aj@x40:~/cvs/nrm-zypp> rug search xgnokii S | Catalog | Bundle | Name | Version | Arch --+---------+--------+---------+----------+----- | factory | | xgnokii | 0.6.10-5 | i586 aj@x40:~/cvs/nrm-zypp> rug in xgnokii Resolving Dependencies... Looking at zmd-backend.log I see: 2006-03-07 20:26:54 <5> x40(19315) [base] Exception.cc(log):94 MediaHandler.cc(getFile):1028 THRO W: MediaHandler.cc(getFile):1028: File ./i586/xgnokii-0.6.10-5.i586.rpm not found on media: fi le:/// 2006-03-07 20:26:54 <5> x40(19315) [base] Exception.cc(log):94 But this file does exist: http://dist.suse.de/factory/suse/i586/xgnokii-0.6.10-5.i586.rpm
Is the package downloaded by zmd ? You might attach /var/log/zmd-messages.log
No, it's not downloaded - I'll attach the file.
Created attachment 71625 [details] logfile
Wrong logfile, please attach zmd-messages.log
zypp backend add that entry to database and later is not able to read it at resolve-dependencies
Klaus, see the initial report, I added the relevant section from the log file. Do you need the complete log file?
I consider this fix with latest code drops.
