Tough I beleave my modifications are not interferring w/ that. =) Anyway, there's a need to reproduce w/ someone elses PC. Setting the Severity to 'Minor' since I don't use that package & will just do 'rpm -e' for it right now. =) For people who use that package this should be 'Major', since it'll prevent apache2 from starting. =) PS: Since that may arrive due to diffrent apache-related packages misconfiguration/conflict, I provide a list of apache related packages installed on my system: ----------------- [ 02:28:40, root@skylab, /usr/src/2Install/CURRENT/ZoneMinder-1.22.0 ] # rpm -qa | grep apach apache2-doc-2.0.54-10 apache2-devel-2.0.54-10 ant-apache-oro-1.6.2-7 apache2-mod_fastcgi-2.4.2-4 apache2-mod_ruby-1.2.4-5 apache2-mod_php4-4.4.0-6 ant-apache-bcel-1.6.2-7 apache2-example-pages-2.0.54-10 apache2-mod_perl-2.0.1-4 ant-apache-regexp-1.6.2-7 apache2-2.0.54-10 apache2-mod_python-3.1.3-43 apache2-mod_auth_mysql-2.8.1-5 ant-apache-bsf-1.6.2-7 ant-apache-log4j-1.6.2-7 apache2-mod_macro-1.1.6-5 ant-apache-resolver-1.6.2-7 apache2-prefork-2.0.54-10 apache2-mod_tidy-0.3-2 ----------------- [ 02:29:12, root@skylab, /usr/src/2Install/CURRENT/ZoneMinder-1.22.0 ] # And also these containing 'web': ----------------- [ 02:30:39, root@skylab, /usr/src/2Install/CURRENT/ZoneMinder-1.22.0 ] # rpm -qa | grep web smpppd-web-2.00-5 python-twisted-web-0.5.0-2 webalizer-2.01-731 struts-webapps-tomcat5-1.2.4-5 webdot-2.2-4 tomcat5-admin-webapps-5.0.30-6 web2ldap-0.15.2-4 docbook-xml-website-2.5.0-52 te_web-3.0-20 pyweblib-1.3.3-4 web2ldap-cgi-0.15.2-4 tomcat5-webapps-5.0.30-6 websh-3.5.0-110 mono-web-1.1.8.3-6 evolution-webcal-2.4.0.1-3 ganglia-webfrontend-2.5.7-6 kwebget-0.8.1-11 kdewebdev3-3.4.2-3 ----------------- [ 02:31:12, root@skylab, /usr/src/2Install/CURRENT/ZoneMinder-1.22.0 ] #

Leaving at the lowest possible priority.
Sorry but I cannot really see a point to this. Please reopen this problem if you want to provide more specific information here. Also notice that bugzilla ist not a support database, for these issues use the mailing lists or IRC channels (...). Only report problems with a packages configuration if the default-cfg is not working or if this is _clearly_ a bug.

As about "not a support db" - I've no need in support. :) Just imagined that reporting somthing wrongly configured is a good idea & that helps others. Generally (almost) all bugs I reported here I had a workaround for. Well, I may just shut up & fix all my problems that I can solve silently w/ no info to Novell - that would not offend me. :) Endeed I'll spend less time in writing reports. :) Tgough I hope that by reporting somthing I help in developing a good distribution as a relatively qualified tester. This one bug is reported in that hope. So, if my imagination is wrong - please confirm that I should report only bugs I can't get a way around. As about the default-cfg - after removing that package I've configs OK (see above). Probably that's enough to point that bug is present an is inside package providing that file. As I said I don't use & thus don't care anymore. I don't think that this is INVALID - the bug is present, IMO. Though noone interested in digging more (and the I'm also not interested). So closing the bug.
damn.. "And I am not interested". Definitely need a preview button in bugzilla. Sorry for my wry english. =)
