When printing from konqueror: after the printer dialog finishes, a kicker icon remains called 'KJobViewer'. It says 'Starting application ....' for several seconds (while the mouse pointer does a bouncing movement) - then it disappears.

Starting KjobViewer manually works fine.

I think this can be reproduced with kprinter <textfile> too
