Description Michael Calmer 2006-03-10 11:16:35 UTC
For the registration process I have to call rug to configure the
update sources. In Beta 7 I found out, that the syntax changed:

OLD:

rug sa -t <type> <url>
rug sub <catalog>

In Beta7 I need a name for type == "yum" and I have to subcribe the "name"

rug sa -t yum <url> <name>
rug sub <name>

Is this a Bug?
What about type == "zenworks" is it there the same, or is it the old syntax?
Is it possible to define catalogs in "yum"?

No. Please see bugs #156030, #156742 for more details on the reason for the change.
It's specific to "yum".
"yum" afaik doesn't have multiple catalogs, just one src.

CC'ing Nat Budin much more knowledgeable on "yum" in case there are more questions.
