Description Bernhard Heibler 2006-03-10 16:59:57 UTC
Sax2 displays everytime on startup the following error message in a dialog box:

Software Installation: Some packages are missing. Install the missing packages now ? Yes/No

If I hit Yes nothing is installed and Sax2 will show up. The error message appears if I start sax from comman line or from the KDE menu.

Hmm, very strange what does the call of

   /usr/sbin/sysp -s 3d

print out ?
Comment 6 Bernhard Heibler 2006-03-11 13:53:51 UTC
/usr/sbin/sysp -s 3d

launches X for a second and then prints Aborted. Thats all. The problem happens on VMware 5.0.0 build 13124. Could this be the probme ? Could I start Sax2 with some other parameters to get more detailed debugging output ?
Comment 7 Marcus Schaefer 2006-03-13 08:17:28 UTC
*Aha* vmware a nice information you should tell people in the
very first comments ;)
