Description Thorsten Kukuk 2006-03-11 19:17:08 UTC
Hardware: Thinkpad T43
SL10.0, configured to use ifplugd to switch between ath0 and eth0.

Update to SL10.1b7 including the madwifi package and kernel modules.

Atheros device will be configured and "iwlist ath0 scan" shows my hidden AP, but
"Access Point: Not-Associated", I don't get a connection.

My netgear WG511 pcmcia card works fine after update.

I did not switch to NetworkManager.

What connection type are you using? WEP or WPA?
Comment 2 Thorsten Kukuk 2006-03-22 16:20:08 UTC
WEP, my old AP cannot WPA.
Comment 3 Joachim Gleissner 2006-03-30 12:47:55 UTC
Hm, anything in /var/log/messages? Could you attach you ifcfg-file (with disguised WEP-key, of course)?
