Description Manuel Streuhofer 2006-03-12 12:07:40 UTC
While having /var mounted with the option "noexec" for security reason, Sax2 in generell still works but testing the new configuration is not possible. Sax2 tries to start up a new X server but does not succeed. There is no error message given and the hint on /var/log/Xorg.99.log does not help since this file does not get created/update.
Comment 1 Marcus Schaefer 2006-03-13 07:58:53 UTC
yes it's because of the library scripts in /var/lib/sax
I think I have to move them but I will not do that for 10.1
... too critical changes

Thanks for reporting
