Steps to reproduce the bug.

1, start Konqueror, using it to browse the file system.
2, enter an directory which contains several files, pictures, etc.
3, the default view of Konqueror is icon view. change it to picture view.

Bug Observation:
Konqueror crashes.

not here. Please start konqueror from konsole and tell any output. And give a backtrace of drkonqi.

as I guess: you're talking about gwenview part. That works fine here.

Please install gwenview and gwenview from the factory tree (http://ftp.opensuse.org/pub/opensuse/distribution/SL-OSS-factory/inst-source/suse/i586/) and try to reproduce. If it happens, you should get a better backtrace

There hasn't been any progress on this bug for more than a month now -> Mengjie, what's the status?

BTW, Coolo was most likely requesting you to install gwenview and gwenview-debuginfo from the Factory trees in comment #3.
