Created attachment 72467 [details] zmd-backend log
Klaus, this is in the area of interaction between zmd, zmd-backend and rug. Not sure where the problem is.
Same problem if I add nscd to the command line - I have no idea which requirement is not met.
Asking Tambet to check this.
zmd prints this empty message when it doesn't get anything else from the resolver helper. --> libzypp(-zmd-backend).
Assinging to Klaus based on #5, also there are a lot of duplicate bugs on this issue.
Oops Naresh kicks himself, assigning to Klaus now.
I added some debug to the helper. Please re-test with next codedrop (> rev 2430).
Asking testing to check on this.
Created attachment 72482 [details] More logs with more debugging There seems to be a good deal more information in these logs (with the 20060312 build). Have a look.
Hmm, its all there but somehow does not get copied to stderr.
Fixed now
