If ZMD is running, and you try to install RPMs directly from the command line with the 'rpm' tool, you see a lot of messages: "warning: waiting to reestablish exclusive database lock" Why is zmd locking the database so frequently? jbw:/dist/i586 # rpm -Fvh evolution*rpm Preparing... ########################################### [100%] 1:evolution ########################################### [ 17%] warning: waiting to reestablish exclusive database lock 2:evolution-debuginfo ########################################### [ 33%] 3:evolution-exchange ########################################### [ 50%] warning: waiting to reestablish exclusive database lock 4:evolution-pilot ########################################### [ 67%] 5:evolution-sharp ########################################### [ 83%] 6:evolution-webcal ########################################### [100%] warning: waiting to reestablish exclusive database lock
