Bugzilla – Bug 157860
lm_sensor error
Last modified: 2006-03-14 14:52:02 UTC
Lm_sensors does not pick up any sensors. I've tested this with three different computers. Suse 10 lm_sensors picks up all of the tested computer sensors by using the sensors-detect command. When executing Suse 10.1 beta 6 sensors-detect, lm_sensors gives this error: (No i2c device files found. Use prog/mkdev/mkdev.sh to create them.). Execution of mkdev.sh makes I2c devices but lm_sensors says "no sensors found" even after sensors-detect successfully detected computer sensors, also after system reboot all I2c devices(/dev/i2c*) disappear.
No idea why I got that one, reassigning to sensors maintainer ...
Please show the output of the command rpm -q --changelog sensors | head -n 6
