Description Bryce Nesbitt 2006-03-16 04:26:12 UTC
This is rather annoying. The gnome screensaver comes up, while I'm working. If I spend too long at the keyboard, not touching the mouse, the screensaver will sometimes pop up multiple times. Then it is as if pressing a key does not reset it to the full 10 minutes, but rather to something like 30 seconds. So it keeps poping up and down as I type.

I have ntp deamon running, but the clock seems normal.

This is intermitent.

I'm not really sure what to do with this bug. We have no other reports.

Bryan, have you seen any more reliable ways to replicate this recently?
Comment 2 Rodrigo Moya 2006-04-18 17:39:22 UTC
Bryan, are you sure you have the latest updates? We fixed this bug in previous versions.
Comment 3 Bryce Nesbitt 2006-04-18 18:51:51 UTC
I have SUSE 10.0
Fully patched using the update feature.
Comment 4 JP Rosevear 2006-04-25 17:40:37 UTC
Ok, I'm pretty sure we fixed this for code 10.

Bryce, if the gnome-screensaver package at:
ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/suse/i386/supplementary/GNOME/update_for_10.0/applications

Solves this for you, we'll probably just close out this bug.

No response in several weeks. Bryce, please reopen if the fix above doesn't help you.
Comment 6 Bryce Nesbitt 2006-05-19 21:32:58 UTC
Sorry, no time to invest in testing this.
