Please be more verbosive about the problem. Did you try to open a KDE-program? These programs require a running DCOP-server which normally gets started automatically if it is not running. How does the login fail?
Comment 3 Wayne Lu 2006-03-17 03:32:34 UTC
1.Yes.I try to open the KDE-Program.Then the POP Screen said "Please Check that the "dcopserver"
2.I close the POP Screen.
3.Sometime the KDE AP would work. But sometime those are fail to work.
4.When the AP fail to work.we reboot the system.
5.Try to login the system again.
6.But fail to login.

Does the same thing happen in KDE itself? Please test that.
Comment 5 Wayne Lu 2006-03-22 07:30:27 UTC
We try with KDE.
It does not happen.
Comment 6 Michael Gross 2006-03-22 11:32:56 UTC
Reassigning to the Gnome maintainers.
Comment 7 JP Rosevear 2006-03-22 13:22:48 UTC
This seems like too bugs in one on a fairly broken beta. I'll let the kde team address the dcop server not starting first.
Comment 8 Stephan Kulow 2006-03-23 14:30:52 UTC
can't reproduce that with beta8. sorry
