Description Holger Sickenberg 2006-03-16 13:22:36 UTC
Durung installation:
when YaST2 asks for CD3 and you do not enter any CD in drive but click on "OK" YaST will NOT ask for CD3 again but for CD4. Clicking "OK" again causes YaST to ask for CD5.

Proposed patch

The problem is that retry tries to attach the media
again and exception is not caught then.

I've removed trying to attach the media, but continue
in the while loop, where MediaSet should try it instead, properly catching exceptions.
Comment 4 Stanislav Visnovsky 2006-03-20 14:54:49 UTC
Fixed in libzypp rev. 2574.

Andreas, this might break the CD handling again, we need to do a bit of QA there to see if retry button works as expected in case of:

1) correct CD in drive
2) incorrect CD in drive
3) no CD in drive.

Holgi, please test - I'll tell you once we have a build that's worth testing.
Comment 8 Andreas Jaeger 2006-03-27 18:59:49 UTC
Holgi, go ahead with Build 827 or 828!
Comment 9 Andreas Jaeger 2006-03-29 09:46:48 UTC
I assume this is fixed but like to see testing done, so let's lower severity for now.
