Trying to "install into directory" ("Installation in Verzeichnis") doesn't work, because there are no software packages available/selectable.

The normal "software installation..." ("Software installieren oder löschen") is working: I have the list of available software packages.

The "source for installation" ("Installationsquelle") ist on an other nfs server.

Die Paketdaten konnten nicht vom Installationsmedium gelesen werden. Es liegt möglicherweise ein Fehler am Installationsmedium vor.

Please try this again with Beta8, attach a screenshot and the yast logfiles if this still happens.

ok, "directory installation" is working with Beta8.
