Description Will Stephenson 2006-03-16 20:31:09 UTC
When upgrading from beta7, the upgrade summary and package selection think that the upgrade requires 11.8GB and the partition is only 11.5GB large, when it is 12.5GB and only 70% full - the upgrader cannot need that much extra space.

yast2 logs

These logs are from a previous attempt when the disk was 98% full, however the bug manifested again after i had freed up some space.

Will what installation media are you using? There was a feature request about adding the downloaded packages for a network installation into the free-disk-space calculation.
Comment 7 Will Stephenson 2006-03-17 12:41:08 UTC
SLP SL10.1 over NFS
Comment 8 Will Stephenson 2006-03-31 12:36:04 UTC
Still in beta9. Jiri, what's going on here?

Entering the package selection, on update, now tells me I have 12.2GB used and -266.5MB free, for a total disk space of 11.9GB,
