Having tried out the suggested fix in Bug: 120438 Suseplugger still does not show up in the system tray, nor does it allert.

USB media only show after reboot and are not hotplugable.

This bug may be a duplicate, but it is not resolved as is stated in Bug: 120438. I consider it bad practice, to reduce bug reports to others, stating them as resolved, when infact this is not the case. See comments of bug: 133579. Suseplugger *is* a problem and one should discuss this more openly in the different Linux publications.

It is not a duplicate, as even restarting Suseplugger does not render the desired results and thus is not a duplicate and specially not a resolved one, as Bug 160297 is not resolved either. Please consider your practice in reference to bug reports.

suseplugger is not supposed to show in systray

To be more precise: Suseplugger does not sho up at all. I cann see it being loaded in the system monitor, but that is about all. CD changes are registered, but usb devices are only registerd after a reboot, not hotplugged.
