Description Philipp Spee 2006-04-14 07:55:58 UTC
After installing SuSE Linux 10.1 RC1 in a Virtual Machine in VMWare Workstation 5.5.1 with KDE as default desktop, the german translation package kde3-i18n-de was not installed.
The installation language was german.
Because of VMWare, the installation ran in text mode.
After manual installation of kde3-i18n-de KDE uses the german language.
This bug is reproducible in VMWare.
I have not tested this issue in a native install.

Package management should care about the language dependent packages for the language selected at the beginning.
