In dialog window open file in Linguist, mask filter is bad: *.ts), Qt 
translation source (*.ts), All files (*). If deleted ( ) mask function 
corect.
in dialog window release ist this bug too.
KDE 3.5.2
QT 3.3.5
SuSE 10.0
LANG=pl_PL.utf-8 or iso-8859-2
In old versions KDE end QT bug is too.

please mail qt-bugs@trolltech.com about it - we don't support Qt Linguist and do not patch it either.

Trolltech ansowering:
I can't reproduce this error locally.
When I open the open file dialog of Linguist under Qt 3.3.5, the correct
file filter is used and only the translation source files (*.ts) are
shown.
Is there any further information that might help me to reproduce this
behavior?

This bug no exist in rest dystributions (Gentoo, Aurox, Mandriva) but only SuSE
