Description Holger Hetterich 2006-05-16 07:18:40 UTC
How to reproduce:
Create a date in the calendar, and use "Forward as iCalendar" to send the date to an other evolution user as E-Mail.
In the mail the other user receives you have a button "Accept" at the bottom of the mail, which is used to integrate the date in the local calendar.
However, there is no visual feedback that the date has really been imported.

I suggest a dialog saying "The ical date has been imported into your calendar."
Comment 1 Holger Hetterich 2006-05-18 07:22:20 UTC
I must regret, there actually is visual feedback, at the bottom of the email, when the accept button is pressed.

However, there is no visual feedback when importing a contact the same way.

Holger Hetterich,

Are you talking about some staus message/dialog while you
save a contact which is forwarded as a mail, in addressbook by pressing "Save in addressbook" button?
Comment 3 Holger Hetterich 2006-07-04 08:44:45 UTC
Yes. It's only a usability thing in the end.

Comment 4 Holger Hetterich 2007-03-30 23:52:16 UTC
any news?

There is still no visual feedback when importing a contact.

Is this fixed in SP1?

Comment 7 Mark Gordon 2007-11-02 21:30:02 UTC
I've filed an upstream version of this bug for increased visibility. If we're fortunate, it will be fixed in the evolution community.
Comment 8 Akhil Laddha 2007-11-13 05:33:01 UTC
Better to track via upstream bug.
