after download koffice 1.5.1 to /tmp/downloads/ I tried to install the rpm-package. There was no chance to add the locale installationpath. No updatechance. Problem of Suse or Koffice or user?

This bug isn't invalid, it's a duplicate ;-)

I guess you tried to add the directory as an installation source in YaST - this currently doesn't work.

Workaround: run   createrepo .   in /tmp/downloads (you need to install the createrepo package if not already done) - now you should be able to add the directory as installation source

You can also run   rpm -Fhv *.rpm   manually.
