String cannot be found in resources but is in /opt/kde3/share/locale/xx/LC_MESSAGES/khotkeys.mo of SLES machine for all languages apart from zh_TW. It appears the Traditional Chinese khotkeys.mo file is out of synch with other languages. Can we get this string included for zh_TW?
How are we supposed to fix that? Shall I create a PO file of all missing translations? that can be quite some. http://l10n.kde.org/stats/gui/stable/zh_TW/index.php talks about 1500 strings alone for kdebase3
The wordcounts for the current version of khotkeys.po on http://l10n.kde.org/stats/gui/stable/zh_TW/index.php are 281 untranslated and 99 fuzzy. Not too many. Is this the version of the file that is shipping in SLES10? I could possibly get this file translated but how would it get back into the build?
khotkeys is just one out of several files missing translations. I'd suggest we extend suse-translations.po with a missing.po. But I'd need to generate that first.

Coolo, what is your question? I'm afraid for all this translations it is far too late.
If we can't make the fixes now for timing purpose we in any case have to include them into online updates or SLE 10 SP1 the latest. If this is work for now depends on your workload with other blocker and critical bugs Stephan. Generally translations are seen quite important for the desktop.
I asked Karl to help out
With the help of Karl, I added a PO file that contains the current SVN translations plus some gaps. This needs to be filled, I hope the amount is possible to translate (not for GA I'm aware). coolo@portia#zh_TW>LC_ALL=C msgfmt --statistics susetranslations_missing.po 15955 translated messages, 476 fuzzy translations, 427 untranslated messages.
(that is in lcn SVN kdebase-SuSE/zh_TW)
see comment #10. Holger wants us to work on translation updates.

Changing product to openSUSE10.3
Fixed in Chinese_Traditional SLES 10.1 Beta 5.
I'm not sure which file I should translate. (Can someone tell me?) Translations in Chinese_Traditional about x11 and Sax2 are 100% complete.
in 10.3 3 Translations in Chinese_Traditional about x11 and Sax2 are 100% complete.
This is not repro on CHT SLES10 SP2 OES2_Sp1 Beta 3.10 build
