How are you getting to the software installer? What tool are you using to do the installation?
Comment 2 Aurélien Bour 2006-06-05 19:38:22 UTC
I use Zen-Updater in graphical way. Just clicking on rpm file.

Thank you.
Comment 3 Joe Shaw 2006-06-05 21:41:16 UTC
Can you duplicate this issue by running "rug in foo.rpm"?
Comment 4 Joe Shaw 2006-06-06 22:13:52 UTC
Also, can you run "rug set debug-level debug" and "rug set log-exception-traces true", then trigger the bug and attach your /var/log/zmd-messages.log file?

I try to install all the newest package (ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/aj/10.1-packagemanagement-update-test/) and now the Software Updater runs but there is none in rpm field when I want to install one ...

I can't access to sources control center (add, delete sources, install, delete rpm) and i've just 2 sources in.

I don't understand what you mean here. Can you take a screenshot and attach it to the bug?

adding a installation source

There is 2 sources after 15 minutes .. and I can't add or delete a source.
Comment 10 Aurélien Bour 2006-06-07 12:12:31 UTC
Hmm .. All seems to be ok now ! I've just run the Installation sources manager and wait for 10 min. After this time, even if there is no source in the field, i've click on the "add" button and all appear. After "finished" and 5 minutes, all seems to work good ..

Thx a lot, I'll try to see if all is ok.
Comment 11 Joe Shaw 2006-06-07 15:49:38 UTC
Ok, the delay is a dup of 177758, so I am marking it as such. Obviously it should not take 10 minutes, even with the many sources that you have.
