Bugzilla – Bug 220716
10.2b2 Shutdown sticks at the end of the shutdown process when I select 'Turn off computer'
Last modified: 2008-02-15 12:03:19 UTC
On a Asus A6T series laptop, Opensuse 10.2 Beta2 does NOT shutdown properly it sticks at the end of the shutdown process when I select 'Turn off computer'. If I select 'Restart computer' instead of Turn off computer, the reboot process worked. I will attach some details soon. I did a kde install of Opensuse 10.2 Beta2. It also used to happen on Opensuse 10.2 Beta1 as well.

oops, wait, this isn't an acpi issue, acpi was disabled here. It's an apm issue, I'll mark this as a duplicate... *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 221667 ***
