it makes it impossible to change anything around printers through yast2. The bug showed after the latest CUPS online update, before there were no problems.

Today i downloaded some patches with You. The Cups patches (cups-1.2.7-3.2.i586.patch.rpm + cups-1.2.7-3.2.x86_64.patch.rpm) are faulty. After the update Yast2/Hardware/Printer fails. Same on secound computer.


It hangs at:
Druckerdatenbank überprüfen 40%
Die Liste der installierten Treiber wurde geändert. Die Treiberdatenbank wird aufgebaut 4%

The only way is to shoot up Yast2(Strg+Alt+ESC)

I also mostly often have problems with Cups Manage printing.

works for me: I have deleted this file: /var/lib/YaST2/ppd_db.ycp
