Description Forgotten User 1-yzHWP3HO 2007-01-26 19:38:44 UTC
if yast2 is started to add a printer, it's mentioned that the printer database has changed and needs to be updated. The rebuilding stops at 4% and the yast2 progress bar sticks at 40%.

If "yast2 printer interactive" is executed and "add" command given, same story. Stays there forever.

A workaround is to delete /var/lib/YaST2/ppd_db.ycp .
