Bugzilla – Bug 256964
something wrong with gnome-default-applications.xml
Last modified: 2008-10-21 16:12:04 UTC
I have seen the following while running gnome-default-applications-properties from package control-center2: I/O warning : failed to load external entity "./gnome-default-applications.xml" This looks like a bug.
gnome-default-applications.xml is in /usr/share/control-center/gnome-default-applications and it's quite interesting to see that gnome-default-applications-properties looks different if the cwd is /usr/share/control-center/gnome-default-applications or something else.
Created attachment 126074 [details] Screenshot where gnome-default-applications.xml is found
Created attachment 126075 [details] Screenshot where gnome-default-applications.xml is not found
If this file is not found, it does not detect firefox correctly.
GNOME#407597, fixed in control-center-2.18.0.
we're up to 2.19.4 now, fixed.
