There is KDE bug, visible when Compiz-Fusion is active - wrong KDE screensaver function. See http://forum.compiz-fusion.org/showthread.php?s=270b107ea632c61d468cca222959c8cf&t=4410 for more details (you can find KDE patch from Compiz-Fusion developer there). I think this patch should be applied to OpenSUSE 10.3 KDE version (eventually backport possible patch from KDE developers).
