COMPIZ: Screensavers do not cover screen (appears untidy/moved)

Hi, I use Compiz with AIGLX + R200 open drivers. Screensavers looks very ungly, please look at my screenshots (attached). This happens all the time. Compiz works very good except for this.

Comment on attachment 179573 [details] screensaver appears moved from screen you will see parts of my desktop, screensaver program should cover all my desktop.
If you have default compiz packages check this option: gconf-editor -> apps -> compiz -> general -> screen0 > Unredirect Fullscreen Windows If you are running all the compiz fusion extra bits, check: ccsm -> General options -> "Unredirect Full screen...."
AIGLX is still not supported officially at all on openSUSE. I suggest to try with Xgl instead.
I can't use XGL because I use open drivers. Novell should work to support open drivers with XGL.

I use xgl and nvidia 7900GT. When compiz is on my desktop and Firefox opened in fullscreen, screensaver does not cover all screen. ccsm -> General options -> "Unredirect Full screen...." This helped me.
What version of KDE are you running? This is also fixed in 3.5.8 which is in the KDE BuildService.
KDE v3.5.7 How safty is to update KDE from the BUILD SERVICE repo? How official is the BUILD SERVICE repo? Thanks & rgds.

I have used the KDE Build Service since the 10.0 family without issues. I am running the current KDE versions from KDE and it runs GREAT and the road from 3.5.7 --> 3.5.8 included several bug fixes that benefited me, one being the compiz bug you are experiencing, which was actually the reason I upgraded. Once I typically upgrade to the newest version I don't upgrade from that build service anymore (at least on my production machine, since I try not to change much). Ben
