my main-menu is strangely big, so some elements are now inaccessible for me.

I have this too at times. Deleting all files in home related to GMM and killing it seems to rectify it.
Comment 3 Federico Mena Quintero 2008-04-03 17:36:06 UTC
Can you please provide a screenshot when the main-menu has its "Documents" tab active?
Comment 4 Federico Mena Quintero 2008-04-03 17:52:15 UTC
See also bug #230614. We need a screenshot ofthe Documents tab before being able to say if this bug is a duplicate of that one.

look at the new login

It seems it has to do with icons not beeing "right" - the problem here is the new login icon. It does not scale correctly
Comment 7 Jakub Rusinek 2008-04-03 20:25:43 UTC
Create big image in GIMP. Eg. 2048x5 and then open it in EOG.
Open menu.

Yeah, this seems like a duplicate. Please re-open the bug if you see it happen again with openSUSE 11.
