Description Michael Meeks 2008-02-08 12:19:37 UTC
I run banshee for the 1st time, I get the "Import music to library" dialog,
I select 'Local files' as an import source,
I browse to /tmp/ and select "12. Via Dolorosa.mp3"

The Music Library shows no tracks, but gets a child: "Import Errors (1)"
"Object reference not set to an instance of an object /tmp/12.Via Dolorosa.mp3"

Does this still happen in Banshee 1.0? Can you try with banshee-1 --debug, should give more output.
Comment 5 Michael Meeks 2008-06-13 10:12:43 UTC
Well - apparently (as far as I can detect by rm -Rf ~/.gconf* ~/.config/banshee* and so on) - when I launch banshee for the 1st time, it no longer asks me if I want to import things ;-)

So that bit at least is gone.

When I try to manually import that one file - it appears to work just fine now.
