[multiscreen] Unplug your external monitor and... nothing happens?
Last modified: 2008-11-29 23:18:49 UTC
1. Configure your external monitor to be nicely configured. Add some panel there, move some windows, etc. 2. Unplug the monitor. 3. See that you lost tons of windows and panels. Hotplugging will be cool. Hot-unplugging should be cool too ;-)
Probably an enhancement for 11.1
We cannot detect hot-unplug or hot-plug in the general case :( This is actually a limitation in the hardware. You have to poll VGA to see if it is connected (and in some cards it flickers). Also, not all drivers do hotplug detection with DVI connections.
