Description Ladislav Michnovic 2008-05-19 15:21:12 UTC
Can't boot LiveCD (GNOME nor KDE4) 20080518. Machine freezes after kernel is loaded. I see on console:
Loading initrd...........................
..........ready.
Probing EDD (edd=off to disable)... ok

Decompresing Linux... done.
Booting the kernel.

BUG: Int 14: CR2 1007c039

I get the same error after kernel update to 2.6.25.4 on Beta3.

That's all? Just one line? Nothing else?
Comment 2 Ladislav Michnovic 2008-05-19 15:47:21 UTC
Yes, that's all.
Comment 3 Ladislav Michnovic 2008-05-19 15:48:24 UTC
The acpi=off fixes the booting.
