Description Magnus Boman 2008-11-01 22:13:24 UTC
GNOME, installed from the LiveCD. When, from the download file dialog, I run "Open Containing Folder" I get Firefox's "Launch App" dialog box (and no pre-selected apps). It should open Nautilus

mozilla-xulrunner190-gnomevfs is installed.

I have one more idea what could be an issue:
Could you please try with a clean profile? Another user or an alternative profile?

Background: It's expected to fail without gnomevfs support and it _could_ be that the new components you installed are not loaded into your Firefox for cacheing reasons.

Yep, works fine after creating a new user. Guess we can close this one and just wait for mozilla-xulrunner190-gnomevfs to be installed by default...

I would like to ke7ep this open since this caching is actually suboptimal.

Not quite easy to solve:

We could register the components at every Firefox start but that would increase startup time quite a bit and I have no really good idea how to determine if a component has been added or removed (in MozillaFirefox _or_ mozilla-xulrunner190).

If anyone has some idea on that please speak up.

Will be fixed in mozilla-xulrunner191 with next update to 1.9.1.6.
