Description Stefan Nordhausen 2008-11-02 15:32:34 UTC
During installation when I enter the partitioner in expert mode and edit a partition, the text field that holds the mount point stays empty, no matter what I do.

Double-clicking the field (=selecting the text) shows that the text I entered _is_ there, it is just white letters on a white background. So technically, the field is fully functional, but it _looks_ as if it is not working.

Same problem with editable combobox in bootloader config.

UI problem (maybe stylesheet).

The text is white on white.
Jakub, could you please fix the stylesheet?

If the problem is solely QComboBox in editable mode, it should be fixed in yast svn trunk. Keeping open until the yast theme is in and fix confirmed.

Just checked that it is displayed well in Beta5.

The addition of the previous 4 files was done to the wrong bug.
Comment 38 Paul Abrahams 2009-03-02 03:41:37 UTC
It doesn't look like a white-on-white problem to me. I typed a mount point into the Mount Point box followed by Enter. That took me back to the previous screen. Under File System, the mount point was still empty.

In any event, I wonder what the procedure is for fixing an error in the install DVD and propagating the fix. Updating packages doesn't do the trick, of course.
