I just checked some of the source code in the Suse Linux factory package
amarok-1.4.10-1.30 and I noticed the following

$ fgrep m_device ../BUILD/amarok-1.4.10/amarok/src/engine/helix/hxplayercontrol.cpp | egrep "new|delete"
   delete m_device;
   delete [] m_device;
   m_device = new char [len + 1];

The first and second lines don't match up.
Suggest first line should be a duplicate of the second line.

Please report such problems directly upstream to developers of those applications. These are very minor issues and handling or forwarding these kind of bugreports is more work than actual fixing would be.
