I'm using kde4 on my laptop. When the laptop is idle, I have the monitor set to shut off after 7 minutes using the kde4 power management module. The setting never kicks in - the screensaver just keeps going no matter how long the laptop is idle. If I disable the screensaver, the screen just goes blank and stays that way. Any info I can provide, let me know.
