Mouse Pointer doesn't rotate on tablet - missing xsetwacom patch
Last modified: 2016-04-15 09:25:57 UTC
When using the screen resolution applet to rotate the screen on my tablet pc, the mouse pointer does not follow the orientation. Thus pointer are in opposite mirror direction of either the touchpad or the pen. Per Federico, there is supposed to be an xsetwacom patch with the applet but it doesn't seem to be present.
Created attachment 269757 [details] gnome-settings-daemon-bnc461755-randr-rotate-wacom.diff This makes the RANDR plugin in gnome-settings-daemon call xsetwacom(1) to rotate the tablet's stylus if the corresponding GConf key is turned on.
Created attachment 269758 [details] gnome-control-center-bnc461755-randr-rotate-wacom.diff This adds the option to the Display capplet to rotate the tablet when you rotate the monitor.
I just submitted this for SLE-11, with submitreq id 147 for gnome-settings-daemon and id 148 for gnome-control-center. - Added gnome-control-center-bnc461755-randr-rotate-wacom.diff to fix bnc#461755 - Add the option of rotating Wacom tablets when the display is rotated. I'll submit this for openSUSE 11.1 shortly.
Submitted for 11.1.
