Description Jan Vinárek 2008-12-25 11:58:25 UTC
Webcam video on Kdetv runs fine on my Lenovo Thinkpad R61i, until closed. When reopened, a popup appears with text "Unable to grab video. Video display is not possible with the current plugin configuration. Try playing with the configuration options of the V4L2 plugin.".

When running from konsole:

ALSA lib control.c:909:(snd_ctl_open_noupdate) Invalid CTL
kdetv: WARNING: [VBIDecoder::restart()] no permission to access device
kdetv: WARNING: MainWindow::setupInfraRed(): Lirc not available

Kdetv hasn't seen upstream development for ages. I suggest you use another
application if it doesn't work for you.
