Description Marvin Dean 2004-12-09 22:03:16 UTC
There is no help or doc for the auto update feature but there has clearly been
some additions to this feature in the 823 build.

Auto Update won't be in for m4. It is coming in M5. Moving to M5
Comment 3 Bill Street 2005-07-20 23:45:01 UTC
Changing milestone to m5. don't know how this was marked for version 1.1
Comment 4 Jack Tobiasson 2005-07-21 18:15:37 UTC
Added the following to the Preferences > Install/Update section: "Automatically
finds updates and specifies the update schedule. For information on these
settings, see the Eclipse documentation."

This info is in the current build.

I can cut and paste from the Eclipse doc to the Install/Update section in
Preferences, if that would be a better solution.
Comment 6 Jack Tobiasson 2005-07-22 21:07:25 UTC
Added info on how to update manually (Welcome > New > Get Updates). Also added
info on how to get updates automatically (info in the Preferences help file).
Comment 9 Marvin Dean 2005-07-25 20:17:37 UTC
Jack this has all, well not all but much of it has changed. Could you get
with Ryan and go over this?
Comment 10 Jack Tobiasson 2005-07-27 18:58:36 UTC
Added info on the Welcome page. Documented the Updates topic in Preferences.
Added a separate help topic (Updating Designer), which comes up in Features and
Usage > Designer's Core Services.
