Byte arrays need to be removed from model

(defect 000395782)

It slows down loading:
Takes about 1 minute -> then I get initializing doc creation -> sits for another
minute or so -> Progress bar is displayed at this point, then it finishes but
project view goes into a refresh loop for a minute, minute and a half, then it
finally finishes.  In one case JVM terminated with an exception and session
crashed waiting for it to return.
