Affects only those who try to use WPA.
Everything works as long as you use no encryption or WEP.

Seems to be related to the same as 
http://www.intellinuxwireless.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1871

But i thought it to be major enough to set it up here, so we don't ship a product with nonworking WPA protected wireless on half of the worlds laptops.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. find a laptop with 4965 or 5399 intel card 
2. Try to associate with AP with WPA encryption enabled
3. Enjoy the show.

Expected Results:  
it should've requested an IP address via DHCP and after receiving that let the NM show it's connected
