Bugzilla – Bug 5264
(Usability Lab) Container DN and Deployment DN same thing with different names
Last modified: 2011-06-04 07:49:42 UTC
The properties view refers to this as the Deployment DN, the propterties on the identity vault refers to this as the Container DN. They should be the same no matter what the decision is to call it. I feel Deployment DN is more accurate however.
This is an easy fix and should be done in 2.l.
Done - Lee
Included in Designer build 20050218
Mike this has changed again. Lee made mention that we should call it Deploy Context. I agree that is a better description for both. Let's just change the interface to include this description. We don't need to change the underlying code and refactor.
Make that Deployment Context.
Changed label to say Deployment Context.
Build:20050713
Mike we need consistency. The properties of the driverset just say context while the properties of the vault say deployment context and the properties in the properties view says deploy context. We need to label them all the same to eliminate confusion. Three places, properties for vault, driverset and labels in properties view need to be the same. Thanks
Marvin, I changed the text for driverset. I changed both driver set and identity vault properties pages to say "Deploy Context" instead of "Deployment Context" due to resolution/font issues with lower resolution and also limited space in the properties view. Also, this is the label text Lee chose to display from the properties view. If you have any further issues with properties view (I see "deploy context" in the properties view with my latest build) then let Lee know about it because that is his code.
