Bugzilla – Bug 546022
mkinitrd: Script /lib/mkinitrd/setup/72-block.sh failed!
Last modified: 2009-10-12 08:10:08 UTC
This happens with Milestone 8: # mkinitrd -k vmlinuz -i initrd Kernel image: /boot/vmlinuz Initrd image: /boot/initrd cp: cannot stat `/etc/scsi_id.config': No such file or directory Root device: /dev/system/root (mounted on / as ext3) Resume device: /dev/system/swap Device md1 not handled Script /lib/mkinitrd/setup/72-block.sh failed!
Created attachment 321948 [details] bash -x logfile
If you don't have self compiled kernel installed, this leaves the system unbootable because of missing initrd after the update.
looks like the same as the other ship stopper *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 525237 ***
