Description Brandon Philips 2009-11-04 19:28:29 UTC
banshee-1-1.4.3-2.16.x86_64

1) Run banshee and start playing music
2) Press play/pause/next/etc on keyboard
3) Banshee doesn't respond

Tested Totem on this machine and it responds to multimedia keys just fine.

Multimedia keys plugin is enabled in banshee.

Brandon:

please verify
rpm -q --changelog gnome-settings-daemon | head

- Update spec file to add the missing BuildRequire of
  libcanberra-devel. Fix bnc#547565.

If you do not have this entry, then that's the issue and it's a DUP of bug 547565.

This fix seems to not be in Factory. I got the a version that contains the fix for bug 547565 from the 11.2 repo and everything works fine. Closing as DUPLICATE.
