Bugzilla – Bug 629406
Remember password in KDE su does not work
Last modified: 2012-11-16 01:01:32 UTC
Hit one click install on a result from software.opensuse.org/search At the 5th click of the 11-click procedure, you are prompted for the root-password. There is a checkbox '[x] Remember Password' Enter the password, check the checkbox and complete the install. On each subsequent install, the same dialog pops up, It remembers the checkbox setting, but the password is not there, and needs to be re-entered. This is nothing new. I grow used to the checkbox having no effect. But some happy day, we should either remove the checkbox, or make it work.

All this happens with my kde-wallet open, if it makes any difference.
